A genie always grants three wishes, but Gary Fitzpatrick’s gave him four -a ride in a BMW, a skydiving trip, a spa massage and a night at the Coast Victoria Harbourside Hotel.
While Fitzpatrick’s initial reaction was a scream of fear when the blue genie in a red suit untied his blindfold at the Victoria BMW dealership, the emotion turned to excitement for the day’s adventure.
Skydiving is a dream that Fitzpatrick has wanted to pursue for a while, his fiancée JoAnne Schrader said, but cancer got in the way.
